This Foundation Thai cooking class explores turmeric through Southern Thai flavours, from golden chicken marinades to rich coconut-based curries influenced by historic spice routes. In this relaxed session, you’ll use turmeric in two ways: as a fragrant marinade for grilled chicken satay and as the base of a traditional Thai yellow curry.

What We’ll Prepare

  • Gai Satay — turmeric-marinated chicken skewers

  • Gang Gari Gai — Thai yellow curry with chicken

Along the way, we’ll explore chicken preparation, different cuts, and how to choose the right texture for each dish.
